A horseman through and through, Darryl maintains a place where people can experience the real Alberta backcountry without pretense. He takes genuine pride in being a part of Barrier Mountain Outfitters.

When he is not in the saddle, you will find him working the property, checking on the horses, or swapping stories around a firepit.

Loraine is the warm, steady heart of Barrier Mountain Outfitters. She handles everything from initial inquiries and bookings to making sure every guest arrives to a site that is clean, stocked, and ready. Her attention to detail and genuine care for people is felt from the very first phone call.

Raised with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, Loraine understands what it means to step away from the noise of everyday life and find something quieter and more meaningful. She brings that understanding to every interaction — listening carefully to what guests are looking for and making sure their stay delivers exactly that.
