Cozy overnight cabin with propane and electric heat. Multiple sleeping arrangements. Full access to all on-site amenities included. Book early — cabins fill fast, especially in summer.

Spacious modern lodging unit with two full bathrooms, full kitchen, power and heat. Sleeps up to 7–8 guests comfortably. Ideal for families, groups, or anyone wanting a full-comfort backcountry base. Full amenity access included.

Our premier 7-hour ride to the legendary Ya Ha Tinda Ranch area — some of the finest riding country in Alberta. Advance booking required.
$250 / rider

All prices subject to 5% GST. Minimum age: 10 years. Maximum rider weight: 250 lbs (113 kg). Rides over 2 hours must be booked in advance. Group discounts available for 2 or more riders — ask us. A 10% saddling fee applies to no-shows.

Bring Your Own Horse - Equine Pen Rentals

Horse Pen Rental
Secure pen rental for guests bringing their own horses. Wheelbarrows and forks available for pen cleaning. Fresh water and tubs provided. Top line of perimeter fencing is electrified for horse safety and to deter interactions with wildlife. Owners must bring their own feed. A pet waiver must be signed upon arrival.
$10 / horse per night

Horse pen availability is limited. We recommend booking your pen alongside your cabin or RV accommodation.

Our Policies

Reservations & Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Contact us directly by phone or email to arrange your booking and discuss deposit requirements.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We understand that plans change — we will work with you where we can.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please contact us if you require flexibility.

Pets

Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please keep pets on a leash and clean up after them. Pets must not disturb other guests or the horses on property. All pet owners must sign a pet waiver upon arrival.

Waivers

A signed waiver is required for all activities participated in at Barrier Mountain Outfitters. Waivers will be provided upon arrival and must be completed before taking part in any activity.

Fires & Firewood

Firewood is supplied at no extra cost. Please use the designated firepit areas only. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the area.
